Beginners Driver Course (Sutton Road Driver Training Centre Canberra)

April School Holiday Dates

(Ages 13 and up)   

The idea of this course is to provide training for first-time drivers.  We provide a first time driving experience for young drivers in a safe and controlled environment without the stresses of driving on the public street.  Learners share vehicles and this experience with other learners in our peer-based learning program.  This is course is conducted on a private property and closed roads.  Drivers must be at least 13 years old.  This will appeal especially to students/parents with high anxiety levels.  The incentive is for parents is to drop their learners off, meet the instructors, of course take embarrassing photo and videos with the cars and then enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.  We take the stress off parents by providing the driver with their first drive. Sharing the day with other students, young drivers use this course to give them the best start as a driver and help build foundation driving skills.  We run a 2 hour learn to drive program, students have the excitement of driving one of our awesome Mini Coopers.  All Staff are fully qualified and have Working With Vulnerable People Checks.  (We can also provide lessons for special needs with hand controls).

Please note if you are recording hours in your logbook. This course does not allow the normal 3 to 1 hour ratio. This is due to being on private roads.
