Fifth Gear Motoring holds Advanced Driver Training
at one of two locations.
Wakefield Park Raceway:
We utilise Wakefield
Park Raceway, one of
NSW's premier motor racing circuits. Wakefield Park is a
2.2km racing circuit that operates under a CAMS National
Circuit Licence, AASA and also under the Department of Sport
and Recreation permit scheme.
The circuit is located 1 hour from Canberra and about 2 hours
drive from Sydney, and is positioned 10km south of Goulburn
on 130 acres of cleared land. There are no trees or natural
obstacles near the track. Safety is paramount and ripple strips,
tyre walls and gravel traps have been positioned so as to make
Wakefield a very safe circuit on which to run any type of production
or race car.
Sutton Road Driver Training Complex:
Fifth Gear Motoring also utilises the Sutton
Road Driver Training Complex. The complex is a purpose
built driver training and assessment facility situated on 63
hectares
of ACT land on Sutton Road,
near Queanbeyan NSW.
The complex includes a number of facilities such as:
* Fully equipped air conditioned function centre
* Six fully equipped air conditioned classrooms (capacity 30 students)
* 2.5km bitumen circuit with varying surfaces
* Manoeuvring areas - bitumen and gravel
* Self-watering skid pan
* Purpose built Four Wheel Drive track
* BBQ facilities
